Is it o.k. to take Ibuprofen during martial arts training?

I have a very intense training session tomorrow, and I am on my period. I've heard that Ibuprofen helps reduce menstrual blood flow for about 40%. Is it fine to take 400 mg Ibuprofen, let's say an hour or two before training? I don't care about pain, I can deal with it. I just don't want to be worried about leaks (we're wearing white uniform).

Or, if anybody knows, are there any foods/teas/drinks that could help regulate heavy menstrual blood flow? I am not looking to stop my period, I know it could lead to severe health problems.

Ibuprofen helps with cramps, but not with blood flow. My suggestion is to use extra precaution with the protection you use. Try to use extra heavy pads and a tampon also.

Ibuproven is known to have an antiplatelet effect, though it is relatively mild. With other words it is a blood thinner which would make you flow even worse. All anti inflammatory drugs (most pain killers) tend to be blood thinners.
Look it up if you don't believe me.
