Is it ok for your partner to invite his ex-mother-in-law to come on...

...vacation with you and his kids? I was told after the invitation had been given. She's decided to come. He says it's ok because she's the kids' grandmother. I'm upset about this, as she's his ex-wife's mother, and I wasn't consulted. I am happy for her to be around lots of other times - just draw the line at coming on vacation. Am I being unreasonable?
 
Yeah that is kinda strange.
I think you should ask why he invited her.
Hey maybe that's why he got divorced the first time.

No I don't think you are being unreasonable, I would be ticked off too!! Try to make the best of it though, maybe she will watch the kids a night or two and the two of you can have a romantic dinner or something... alone!
 
Actually thats wrong honey. No NO nO NO, it is up to the ex-wife to let her family spend time with the kids when she has the children, its not his place to do so when he has them. That is wrong and messed up. My husband has a ex wife with 3 kids the whole nine and we don't do that, we spend time with the kids and his family when we have them and she spends time with the kids and her family when she has them. THat is a totally messed up situation and you are being ran over.

Joe the plumber, for fixing your kitchen sink because you think he is a swell guy
