I'm a girl and my first time cosplaying I want to be Kagamine Len (Vocaloid).I mean, I'll bind and etc. Buy a wig, make the costume (got my mum to help) buy contacts...

Do you think it's okay? I mean, everyone I've met don't suggest crossplaying for your first cosplay...

well most of the time being a girl for your first cosplay is better , crossplaying isn't recommended until you have more experience but if you're confident enough , go for it xD

It's fine as many of the girls tend to pull off some male characters better then the guys actually do.
So go for it and have fun with it!

Yeah!it's fine.many people do this anyway.but make sure you look good as Len because if you don't it'll be a complete waste of money.

It really depends. I think its perfectly fine. The beauty of conventions is that you can be whoever you want to be. I have seen largely... "overweight" black girls dress up as Link before. I really want to go as a Viera and I'm 5'1... If anyone gives you heck about it, screw them.

Go have fun!
