Sydney Magistrate Brian Maloney gave 19-year-old Cody Heap a stark warning about jail life in an attempt to scare the youth into good behaviour.

"You'll find big, ugly, hairy, strong men (in jail) who've got faces only a mother could love that will pay a lot of attention to you - and your anatomy," the magistrate said.

I think Brian Maloney has a secret crush on big hairy men only he could love, god I bet he wishes he was in jail!

If scare tactics like this jude used can scare even one youth into going straight then it cannot be wrong, can it?

Yes they should. Something needs to be done world wide about the lack of morals, and the lack of good judgements made by todays youth in the AU and the US. The judge was telling the truth, and the kid probably doesnt believe a word of it.

yeah but the kids I know would roar with laughter at that ..... you know how they think they can beat the whole world up!

Well it's the most intimidating thing the Judge can do, the human rights act has left criminals secure in the knowledge they will be given good food, entertainment and great medical treatment simply by breaking the law.

I think it's hilarious. Fed up with the namby pampy tap on the wrist criminals get these days with little / no consequences for what they have done.
