Is it possible that ghosts are lifeforms our senses can't pick up?

Basically when people say they see ghosts could it be other lifeforms on earth that co-exist with us and that these people have more honed senses. For instance of our five senses we have a limits, such as we can't hear under 40 DB, we can't see atoms with our eyes etc.

p.s. i don't mean cold spots in rooms for ghost, or reasons that can easily be explained by science.

I did an experiment with pointing my camcorder directly at the TV on a snowy channel ( ya know the shhhhhhh sounding one) and zoomed in a quarter way and let it record for about 2 hours and when I played it back there were distinct images (when played in slow motion and only briefly) of a lady standing on the outside of a balcony and it looked like someone in the back ground slightly behind her reaching for her. This channel does not receive stations and no cable or antenna was hooked up. I took a picture of it and will hopefully post it on my profile. Soon as I saw it I had goosebumps.
