Is it possible that my dreams are recreations of the past?

Sometimes I feel like I dream about events that took place like ten years ago, like I was still in my body and watching the scene with the same thoughts that I had back then.

That would also explain why I can still recall stuff that happened when I was in 1 grade. I am not even kidding.

Dreams can definitely highlight and bring to the surface subconscious thoughts and memories. Recording and remembering dreams can often to a way to stimulate and vitalize these to work for us in the present. If you are having dreams about events from 10 years ago, there may be some reason to why these are coming up now. Bring them before God and ask Him to reveal how they are connected to the present.
