Is it possible to add a Divx function to my UK Sony dav-dz330 DVD?

Hi have a Sony dav-dz330 and I would like to play Divx movies with either the USB or on Disc.

I understand that the UK model dose no come with this function. I have had a look on the web for some ideas of how to install this and the nearest I can find is about some FourCC and codecs which to be honest has lost me.

I am looking for some simple easy to follow instructions if this is possible and assume I know nothing

Codecs can be installed in pc. If ur home theater system cannot play divx then there's is no other way.
