Is it possible to get more load on my Nokia phone even if im in America?

so i got a nokia phone from the philippines. it's a nokia 3110. i can only get P60 of load. my family tried to load me all text 20, but it won't work. is it possible to get more load on it? i just can't imagine it not possible..thanks =)

yes.. it's possible.. i ask my parents to load my phone (w/c is on roaming).

for continuous use of international roaming, there's a maintaining balance you need to keep. for globe, it's P100. i don't know about smart though..

either smart, globe or sun. have it on international roaming and ask somebody in the philippines to load it at certain intervals. what i usually do would be to bring along two triple band cell phones. one is inserted with a philippine sim(i use smart) and the other one with an american cellular company sim(cingular). this way i could receive text from friends and relatives in the philippines thru smart and they get to pay only one peso per text. i reply with cingular which they charge at 10 cents per text(app 4.10 peso).
