Hi,

After many years of holding back, I have decided to convert to Judaism. I want to practice conservative, but I want an Orthodox conversion because I want my children to be born Jewish, and I want to be considered a Jew by all movements. Is it possible to have an Orthodox conversion, yet decide to practice Conservative Judaism? Thanks!
Can a Jewish person please answer my question? Thank you!

answer: not if you go into the conversion with the intention of not being fully observant. In one case a woman had her conversion rescinded when it came to the attention of the rabbinical court that she wasn't observant, especially after a divorce. She admitted she had only converted for her husband and never intended on being fully observant.

I'm starring for my Orthodox contacts to correct if I'm in error.
