smartphone? or is there a symbian app that functions like command prompt?
 
I don't know the symbian application to check the Ping of the Connection,i would suggest the site Whoisxy.com
it helps to check the ping for particular ip or domain name,You can open the site in PC or else in Smart phone and check it.
