Is it possible to unring a bell?

I believe that anything is possible, but I'm having trouble with this...Is there a way to "negative" ring a bell? If so, it should bring me closer to my goal.

In the same way that you can't take back what you have said; you can't unmake a sound you've created.

What's brown and sounds like a bell?

Hmmmm... The sound of unringing a bell is the bell being struck. Once the bell is struck, sound waves spread from the bell, making it audible. The complete opposite of noise is silence, so I suppose by doing nothing you ARE in fact unringing a bell. Just my thoughts.
