That seems to be what all Republicans are doing on the news.

How is that a good idea when almost 90% of Americans blame Republicans for the current economic crisis?
 
I see them winning the majority of congress again, because the dems are doing anything..
 
Looks like to me that they are betting that it will take more than four years to fix the Republican induced recession and hope that people have become impatient with the people who are trying to fix it and will side with those who are trying to sabotage the repair. Sounds like a pretty stupid bet to me.
EDIT: BTW, Cookie, he won with 52% of the votes and now has a 68% approval rating. I think you are confusing conservative delusion with facts when you say his popularity is declining. Another interesting fact 58% of the people in a Gallup poll were DISSATISFIED with the way the Republicans were handling the stimulus issue.
 
His popularity remains strong at 68% in the last poll, and 3/4s of people are optimistic in his plan.

This is despite the case the media has been repeating the lies of the Republicans, saying that Obama's plan is socialist.

All the whining that I hear comes from democrats. I didn't cause it; I only inherited it. It's going to hurt you more than it does me. This stimulus package must pass or millions will be out of work. There's no time to waist, I'm going on vacation tomarrow. Ha Ha.

The economy is great and has been ever since the dems took over the house and senate in 2006.
Now that they have the presidency as well, things couldn't be better.
 
I'm this close to quiting on this site because of questions like this. This country is going to collapse if you keep on with this bullsh*t. The dow is under 6800 ... this has nothing to do with political parties and everything to do with banks and corporations.
 
If we keep the Ready, Fire, Aim strategy that Pelosi, Reid, and Obama have displayed so far, it won't be just republicans complaining.

By the way like about 40% of America believe that republicans alone caused the recession.

You DO realize Obama only won by 52% and his popularity has only declined since the election.
