It really doesn't matter what you drive. The price of gas is high , period. Keep in mind, most of these folks have bought their SUV's years ago and most probably still have an outstanding loan on these vechicles and no one wants to buy them, so selling is pointless. I, myself have had my SUV for over 5 years and it is still not quite paid off and I can't get anyone to give me a good trade . I drive it as little as possible and I plan all my driving. I, do, however, need a truck for some of the work my husband does. Please be careful not to judge too quickly. Thank you..

that averages 15 mpg? Just wondering, I see this happening a lot lately.

I really don't care what kind of mileage an SUV gets, gas is too high, and if people decide to purchase a suv, then it should be their right.
We have worked our whole lives to be able to retire and enjoy life, to travel and see parts of the country that were too far and expensive when raising a family. now, gas cost too much to enjoy our plans.
Don't forget, gas prices not only limit the ability to travel, but also affect the food and all prices in general, so regardless of type of vehicle, and the mpg, people do have every right to be upset.
By the way, we have a small motor home that gets on a good day, no more than 8mpg, so now it just sits there gathering dust, and has for the last three years.

We really get upset with those people that think the answer is to buy a small Japanese car to save money on fuel, yep, thats a good idea, throw a neighbor out of work so you can save a dollar, and get more dependant on foreign made products, so they can afford the cost of oil, then raise hell about WalMart and the Chinese goods they sell.
