I just recently bought a crested gecko and its in the basement where my room is, and it tends to be colder down there so it constantly needs heat, i have a exo terra small lamp and it gets hot to touch, the only time it is not on is when i change the night bulb to the day bulb. The lamp is just sitting on top of the exo terra terrarium screen, so i was just wondering if it is safe to always have it on 24/7.
