Is it strange that I bow my head?

I noticed that I bow my head and say thank you. I don't know why I do it. I don't do a full bow or anything just my head. I do it without thinking and it bothers me sometimes...Is that strange? I don't do it ALL the time but most of the time. But I do it when im shopping or with a group of family members,friends.
