theater to save money on snacks? Movie theater snacks are SO expensive now a days.

It's only pork roast, mashed potatoes, glazed carrots, green beans, and dessert...on a ceramic plate covered with tin foil.
Oh...and I put the gravy in a Ziploc bag.

let me get this straight: you spend $10 on a movie ticket, but bring food to save $5 on snacks? why not just wait for pay-per-view? $5 total instead of $10 per person, your own food, no other people, the comfort of your own home, and no gas

How are you going to heat the gravy? Other than that, it sounds perfectly ok. Movie theatres are a rip-off when it comes to food. I usually take in my own food - but it's only cheese sandwiches and ginger pop and coconut ice. Nothing fancy like you.
