Is it true that Judaism will not allow non-Jews to convert once the Messiah comes?

The ancestors of the jews have killed the Messiah, Jesus Christ Son of the living God and spread false testimonies about Him.

Matthew 27

39People who passed by said terrible things about Jesus. They shook their heads and 40shouted, "So you're the one who claimed you could tear down the temple and build it again in three days! If you are God's Son, save yourself and come down from the cross!"

41The chief priests, the leaders, and the teachers of the Law of Moses also made fun of Jesus. They said, 42"He saved others, but he can't save himself. If he is the king of Israel, he should come down from the cross! Then we will believe him. 43He trusted God, so let God save him, if he wants to. He even said he was God's Son." 44The two criminals also said cruel things to Jesus.

Matthew 28
Jesus Is Alive
(Mark 16.1-8; Luke 24.1-12; John 20.1-10)

1The Sabbath was over, and it was almost daybreak on Sunday when Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to see the tomb. 2Suddenly a strong earthquake struck, and the Lord's angel came down from heaven. He rolled away the stone and sat on it. 3The angel looked as bright as lightning, and his clothes were white as snow. 4The guards shook from fear and fell down, as though they were dead.

5The angel said to the women, "Don't be afraid! I know you are looking for Jesus, who was nailed to a cross. 6He isn't here! God has raised him to life, just as Jesus said he would. Come, see the place where his body was lying. 7Now hurry! Tell his disciples that he has been raised to life and is on his way to Galilee. Go there, and you will see him. That is what I came to tell you."

8The women were frightened and yet very happy, as they hurried from the tomb and ran to tell his disciples. 9Suddenly Jesus met them and greeted them. They went near him, held on to his feet, and worshiped him. 10Then Jesus said, "Don't be afraid! Tell my followers to go to Galilee. They will see me there."

Report of the Guard

11While the women were on their way, some soldiers who had been guarding the tomb went into the city. They told the chief priests everything that had happened. 12So the chief priests met with the leaders and decided to bribe the soldiers with a lot of money. 13They said to the soldiers, "Tell everyone that Jesus' disciples came during the night and stole his body while you were asleep. 14If the governor [a] hears about this, we will talk to him. You won't have anything to worry about." 15The soldiers took the money and did what they were told. The Jewish people still tell each other this story.

no. Sincerety does not have to wait.

Besides, according to bible thumpers, it will be too late to do anything by that time...

When mashiach comes people WILL be allowed to convert- however it will be that people will NOT wish to convert but rather to be "righteous amongst the nations" in other words, to become Noachides follwoign the seven laws given to the Bnei Noach.

The reasoning behind this is as follows; In the time of Mashiach, each of the nations of the world (referred to as the 70 nations in the Torah and Talmud) will come to understand the role set aside for each of their specific nations. In this scheme each nation has a place in the world, each becomes an inherent part of the whole which enables the complete world to exist in harmony and peace. Once each person understands their role and place in the world, their will not be a desire for people to convert as they will be doing what attracts their soul and is their true purpose in which they find happiness.

In this scheme the roles of Jews is to be the priests and to teach spirituality to others. It is a specific role as is that of farmer, accountant etc. it is no better or worse than any other role, just a different role. But, there are always some people that will have a desire or pull to something different- some of these may wish to convert to Judaism and take on the role of the Jews- it will be allowed but it is not seen as something that would be common.

Truth Crusader mentions the opinion that conversions would not be allowed due to the fear that it would be due to the prestige and position of the Jews- this is the reason the Talmud brings as to why conversions were not allowed during the time of David hamelech (King David) and Shlomo hamelech (King Solomon). However, the majority opinion is that the same would not be true in the time of Mashiach as people would be content with their roles and not seek out conversion merely for prestige or power. A significant minority opinion that follows what Truth Crusader says is that of the Rambam who takes a far more rationalistic view of the messianic era.

That is true actually. After the third and final Temple is built and Moshiach comes Jews will not accept non-Jews as converts because most people will only want to convert due to the power and prestige associated with Jews. You can give me as many low ratings as you want though I speak the truth.

answer: I haven't heard that at all. Once the Jewish Messiah is known, everyone will come to G-d. Jews don't believe you have to be Jewish to reach G-d NOW, that's why Judaism doesn't seek converts. Those who are called to Judaism are very welcome (I have been!) but Jews don't view it as necessary if someone isn't called to take on the responsibility of being a Jew.

Here are the prophecies the Jewish Messiah will accomplish (WITHOUT being worshiped or divine)

* The Sanhedrin will be re-established (Isaiah 1:26)
* Once he is King, leaders of other nations will look to him for guidance. (Isaiah 2:4)
* The whole world will worship the One God of Israel (Isaiah 2:17)
* He will be descended from King David (Isaiah 11:1) via King Solomon (1 Chron. 22:8-10)
* The Moshiach will be a man of this world, an observant Jew with "fear of God" (Isaiah 11:2)
*****In other words - this must all be accomplished in a human lifetime*****
* Evil and tyranny will not be able to stand before his leadership (Isaiah 11:4)
* Knowledge of God will fill the world (Isaiah 11:9)
* He will include and attract people from all cultures and nations (Isaiah 11:10)
* All Israelites will be returned to their homeland (Isaiah 11:12)
* Death will be swallowed up forever (Isaiah 25:8)
* There will be no more hunger or illness, and death will cease (Isaiah 25:8)
* All of the dead will rise again (Isaiah 26:19)
* The Jewish people will experience eternal joy and gladness (Isaiah 51:11)
* He will be a messenger of peace (Isaiah 52:7)
* Nations will end up recognizing the wrongs they did to Israel (Isaiah 52:13-53:5)
* The peoples of the world will turn to the Jews for spiritual guidance (Zechariah 8:23)
* The ruined cities of Israel will be restored (Ezekiel 16:55)
* Weapons of war will be destroyed (Ezekiel 39:9)
* The Temple will be rebuilt (Ezekiel 40) resuming many of the suspended mitzvot
* He will then perfect the entire world to serve God together (Zephaniah 3:9)
* Jews will know the Torah without Study (Jeremiah 31:33)
* He will give you all the desires of your heart (Psalms 37:4)
* He will take the barren land and make it abundant and fruitful (Isaiah 51:3, Amos 9:13-15, Ezekiel 36:29-30, Isaiah 11:6-9).

When the Messiah comes, everyone will understand their purpose of being on this world. G-d created someone as a Jew (or with the desire to be a Jew in the case of a convert) in order to fulfill their JEWISH purpose. G-d created the non-Jews in order to fulfill THEIR purpose. And therefore, the desire to become a Jew will become obsolete.

Everyone will be comfortable in their own shoes.
