...tiger barbs? I have a small jewel cichlid that has his own tank, however, I'd like to dedicate that tank to breeding. I usually wouldn't even think of mixing a cichlid with semi-aggresive fish, but i'd like to have a second opinion.

If the tank is big enough then i say go for it, anything over 30 gallons
