I mean with all of those weird freaky ritualistic things and crazy strict rules and all? I was raised Catholic but I just think it's embarrassing, primitive, and a pain the the @ss, basically. I'm just not into it. Supposedly my real father was Jewish and I'm just wondering if that wouldn't be as bad. My mother insists it's even worse, but then again she also likes insisting my real father is some other guy who's dead and all this other BS I know to be untrue.
I don't think I'm really cut out to have a religion at all and I know this isn't going to win me any friends here but I don't want to be an atheist either because most of the ones I know are as narrow-minded and overzealous as the religious nuts I want to get away from. I don't want to align myself with a bunch of people who judge everyone else based on religion (or lack thereof). Is there anything else that's not a religion OR a non-religion that people like to preach about like it's a religion? Agnosticism maybe?
