So I just got the system last week by my friend who sold me the Sub and Amp for 350 all together. The thing is I'm very new to all this car audio system so I barely know what I'm getting into. I went to an expert to do my speakers and he told me that my amp was barely pushing my kickers to its full potential. My subs do knock pretty hard but now I'm very paranoid that my amp isnt really kicking my L7 Kickers all the way. Am I fine the way it's setted up or should I go pick up a new amp.......if I was to buy a new amp, I was wondering if it was possible for me to just buy another R500-1 amp and connect the two amps to my subwoofer.

i havent played with fasgate amps in many years so i dont know how true their wattage is, but if you like the sound of it just keep it. having too much power will make you want to turn it up more and more til your sub gives up.

but if you want it louder, instead of tryin to buy a second r500-1, try selling it and buying one bigger amp.

only some amps are able to bridge together like that, doing to other amps will only turn out bad.
