when i was 13......i wore tripp pants ( hot topic pants that has alot of chains on them) and spikes and black band shirt's and stuff......so i asked to go to gamestop but he said:SURE but first off you got to get some decent clothes on)........is this judgemental and wrong? lol im 16 now and looking back at it now.....i dont wear the pants anymore
 
he probably just didn't think what you were wearing wasn't decent. sometimes my dad will tell me to change if what i'm wearing isn't appropriate for where i'm going. or maybe he just didn't like the way you dressed. everyone judges.... ): but it's okay. he's your dad, maybe he thought you'd embarrass yourself in what you were wearing
