I have a beagle. I love him more than anything, and he loves me ... or so I thought. About 10 minutes ago I was playing with him, then he lied down on his bed. I watched him lay there to make him feel comfortable, but all of a sudden he barked at me, then barked several times. He is a very moody dog, so I backed off. All of a sudden he ran to mw, so I thought I better not excite him and went outside. He followed me so I thought I'd just give him a rub on the back. Then, out of nowhere, he bites me. First of all, this wasn't a normal bite, he bites me loads but this time it was like he was pressing down and maybe even breaking the skin. So I get up, he starts jumping at me. I sit back down and he bites again so I stand up and he bites on the back of my foot, but this time it was really hard, he presses and brakes the skin and I'm left with a cut on the back of my foot. Now, he's 1 day away from 10 weeks old, so the bite wasn't very strong but why did he do this? Not only did he continue to bite but I had to push him away, pick him up and eventually walk away before I wasn't being bitten? But, by walk away I mean close the door on him, he didn't stop on his own I had to close the door and be in my house myself to get away from him.

I don't get it, he's always and lovely beagle, a bit aggressive o some of his toys and a bit cheeky but that's it. Now, there are some reasons I've thought of as to why he would have bit me.

1. I used a pump to scare him away when he was biting me too hard.
2. I was standing on a different surface for a second and he tried to get to me and fell flat on his head on concrete, although he appeared alright.
3. I was using my phone, which he's never seen before, to take photos and small videos of him.

Now, a last thing, do I need a techness shot? He has broken the skin before with a bite, and nothing happened, but that time it was only a small dot of blood not an actual cut. But, he's never been in contact with another dog, he doesn't have fleas or ticks and we bath him often to keep him clean. Also, my parents gave him some medication, but I can't remember what for, and also, he's only been to the vet once.

So after al that, is he aggressive, and if so how can I take control of the situation and make him stop biting and barking at me. I love him so much and I really don't want my parents to get rid of him because they think he's aggressive, because he's really a sweet, loving dog. Thanks for the help.
