Hi Guys! about 5 days ago i dropped my iphone in water for about 2-3 seconds and when i got it out it kinda just went off but the image was on the screen for about 3 seconds after I got it out. I then put it in an airing cupboard overnight and it still wouldn't switch on. I then took it to a repair shop ( the guy didn't seem to have a clue what he was doing) he tried putting it on charge and then gave up. I took it home then put it in a bag of rice and then put it in the airing cupboard and left it for 2 days. I then tried charging it and it comes on for about 8 seconds and then switches off. Is it worth me taking it to a professional repair shop? It's and iphone 3G if that helps!! Thanks
