is my landlord selling my house?

ok so i live with my mom and stuff and our landlord has been bugging us alot lately. He is having an appraiser come over tomorrow AND also a person who is interested in buying our house. He said he is unsure if he is going to sell it but he also said this guy has been bugging him alot for the house then he said later not to worry much because the guy doesnt really want the house? it just didnt make sense to me. Do you think maybe he is selling the house and just saying hes unsure?
