Is my Samsung c5220 internal camera on my phone, able to take photos that are not going to be used for just the photos of your contacts. I can't figure it out... Does anyone have this phone and can tell me?

and also, how do i change the tone for when i recieve a text?

Whenever I have a problem such as yours, I read the user's guide (aka "the manual").
If that doesn't help, I check the manufacturer's website.

99% of the time that does the trick.
