On Friday in gym, I was doing some heavy shrugs, deadlift, and few intense exercise. On Monday, when i started to do squat i felt huge pain on my spine and upper neck (c4 disc) so i wasn't able to workout as i used to on that day. The result showed same when i went to gym on next Monday to do squat still felt pain on it. Does this require surgery or at least doctor's check up. I don't want this injury to be permanent and not able to lift forever in my life.
