Is Obama the greatest President since FDR, or the greatest since Lincoln?

FDR is hard to beat, but Obama has already won the Nobel Peace Prize, solved the health care crisis, ended Bush's depression, restored America's place in the world, shown leadership on global warming, got us to the endgame in Iraq, made the right decisions on Afghanistan, and so much more.

Hard to think of a President who's done more in his first year.

You also forgot that he tripled the national deficit.
Don't forget that.

Obama won the Nobel Peace Prize for absolutely no reason being nominated 10 days into his presidency. The health insurance reform is not over. This recession was a totally bipartisan effort and is not over. Many are still unemployed. Obama was called Satan at the UN just like Bush was. Kyoto was a failure and Bush did the right thing by not signing it. The decision for the US to pull out of Iraq was reached during the Bush presidency due to the success of the surge. I agree with you about Afghanistan. His administration spends money like we've actually got some.

He has not kept his promises about transparency, lobbyists, changing Washington DC, cutting the pork out of bills, or creating jobs. He's got a long way to go before I think he's doing an exceptional job. In fact I really dislike his agenda. He does seem like a nice family man though

Obama is the worst president since Carter.

Obama will likely usurp Carter's title as the worst president in U.S. history.

FDR sucked actually. Lincoln was a tyrant who deserved getting shot. Both died in office so as long as Obama ends up like that , I don't care.

It would have been great if Obama had turned out to be a good President, but all he's really done is spend trillions making things worse. I wish he had been a good President, but I don't wish it enough to pretend he really was.

You seem to be a partisan person.

Explain to me why Obama should have won the Nobel Peace Prize so soon when he has not yet done anything as president? The economy and healthcare issues are far from solved.

It took people like Dr. King, Nelson Mendela, and Teddy Roosevelt years before they received one.

Btw, there are still troops in Iraq and Obama is not taking troops out of Afghanistan. Oh I know how mad this makes the far left.

Also, you seem to forgot he didn't really actually do any of that stuff; it's based on opinion. He didn't do a darn thing to earn the Nobel Peace Prize; all he did was what he does best- talk, talk, and talk..

Obama didn't even do anything to deserve the Nobel Peace Prize. Just a bunch of talk.
And he really didn't do any of those things yet. But to answer your question I would say FDR.

Truthfully I think best since Bush.

He is indeed great. Only 43 other men were ever better presidents than he was.

In order to proclaim a President great or not, one must examine the entire term of office and usually, only after a decade has passed since that President has left office.

I'm sure that most of the answers to this question will be aimed at Obama as the worse president ever. I am not so quick to form an opinion. He has held the office of President for less than one year and I could never judge anyone in such a short time. The country was in a mess - Obama said it could take years to fix - he has made great attempts towards peace - he is putting great effort into global warming and other environmental problems - he reaches out to all people - he is working on a health care reform so all people can have medical care and he has gained the respect of countries that once looked down on America. He has spent a great deal of money, yes, but by not spending it we would be in a greater recession now. I believe that once the economy gets back on its feet, we will be able to lessen our debt.

I have some concerns about Obama's administration, but I refuse to give up on a president who is working so hard for our country. Change is good and I really hope that Obama can make the changes that America needs. Let's give him more time before making a judgment.

And he is destroying the GOP.
THAT would be his greatest achievement.

The once mighty GOP has turned into a bunch of wussy old men.
Before, they were just old, very old.

That is all a bunch of donkey feces. Obama is the worst president in American history. He and his toadies in the House and Senate are actively pushing to put the United States into bankruptcy and ultimate ownership of China.
