Is person with "Series 7" certification best qualified to advise me in online...

...trading? I'm just embarking on my first attempts at online trading. A friend has volunteered to indoctrinate me in the best methods to use in investing and risk/reward management. Would this education give him the best tools for this job?
 
In my opinion it is better to study materials for Series 7 exam using this Series 7 Preparation App and similiar cources. This online training course covers all important topics and necessary questions. Also, I think that Series 7 exam is worth taking in your case.
