Is radio free with Nokia x7?

I got Nokia x7 and when I try to listen to the radio, all it said was to tell me to plug my headphones in and it uses the plug-in-top as the receiver. It didn't say anything about needing internet so I'm assuming I don't need it right? Because I only have unlimited texting. Thanks.
 
its free, just like an ordinary radio. The only one that isnt free is the nokia internet radio app that u download, that uses data. But the one built into ur phone is completely free.
