So I recently met this very nice girl from work and we would talk quite a bit when we see each other. It so happens that we also go to the same university and are now taking a course together. Both at work and in class she would initiate a lot of the conversations and I feel that we have a lot in common. I have always wanted to ask her out to dinner before I knew we went to same university but I never got around to getting her number or IM.
On the first day of class she invited me to go see a movie with her and her friends but I had work that night so I couldn't make it. So today, I finally mustered up the courage to ask her to dinner after we finished our night class. She said yes right away with no hesitation. During the dinner we talked a lot and she seemed to laugh and smile at a lot of the things I said but i'm not sure if this is just part of her personality. There was a lot of eye contact through out the meal as well. There was one time however when she said "you're such a good friend" jokingly when I helped her finish a plate of spicy food (she doesn't like spicy foods) but that was the last time she said that. At the end of the meal we were getting ready to pay and I offered to pay for her but she insisted on paying for herself. Does this mean she sees me as just a friend?
After dinner, I drove her home and she mentioned how the dinner was really nice. I than said that we should do this again sometime and she said definitely. She also complimented me on how I am really tall (6'2).
Based on what I said, do you guys think she is a bit interested or just being friendly?
