I'm from California and 17 and I'm going to China this summer and possibly Singapore in a few years or maybe less or more, because my aunt lives there (mom's cousin). I really want to go and it sounds fun. However I know one kid at my school who is black and white, and doesn't like Chinese people for some reason (maybe he was joking). He said he's been to Singapore when he was young and he said that it was mostly Indian people.
However I knew a guy who just got back from Singapore who visited our class as a guest speaker who said 75% of Singapore is Chinese, and most Singaporeans I've known online/or in movies/music are Chinese. Plus a magazine said it's 3/4 Chinese. And I've seen pics of Singapore streets with mostly Chinese people and some Indians. But he tried to argue with me that it's mostly Indian, with some Indonesians, Cambodians, and Chinese.
Just curious because I've always thought Singapore was mostly Chinese and Malay. I know Indian is a big minority there but doubt it's a majority.
