Is the faux hawk out of style?

So I've been sporting the faux or (fo) hawk for about 2 years. Is it out of of style?
 
I think it's cute as long as you don't have a lot of gel in it. To be honest, I think it can make a guy seem cocky. I like just messy hair. My boyfriend uses this axe stuff that styles your hair without giving it that gay wet look. You should try that.
 
it dosent matter if its in style
it matters more if you like it and if it looks good on you!:)
 
Yes and No. The faux hawk with gel is out of style by far! (now considered the douche look) but if u have a slight faux hawk with no gel (or looks like it has no gel) then its okay.
Moral of the story: anything with gel is considered out of style, or douche-ish in the year 2009.
