Is the future already planned or not?

i think that it cant be known. heres an example why i think it cant be known: ok you think that your going to do something and thats planned in the the future so you do something else just to change it. so what if the future was that you would change your plans just to not follow what you think is the future. i know its hard to understand but i need an answer if the future is already planned or if its not.
 
Sometimes I think we inadvertently try to change it, because we know basically how things most likely will turn out, but then I suppose we can't always act in the correct way, to make things happen for us, so how can we know what the future will be like - and it's also influenced by a range of factors apart from our own influence, external factors.
 
Your future and life is what you make it :) Nobody else is incharge of your destiny apart from you.
