Is the Hunting community a lesser place without Butch?

Some troublemakers pissed off Butch and so he decided to leave the Hunting forum. I didn't see eye to eye with everything he wrote, but he's one of the good guys.

Butch, come back!
 
I miss Butch C, good man, always tells the truth and has a good sense of humor, I hope he returns to Yahoo! Answers soon.
 
It happens. Trolls, trouble makers, jackasses, they anger a lot of us. Not me enough so to leave tho. I just go on reporting em or ignore them.

There are many problems that need to be solved on here. It's a shame.
 
I don’t blame him a bit! I have been here about 3 years and I am sick of the bullcrap! We have some real jerks here which is too bad considering the many wonderful folks here. And that’s why I stay because of the good people.
Life is a b!tch anyway and when dealing with the public you get much more of that.
I miss quite a few including Boker Magnum and some others.
What ticks me off more than the trolls is the opinionated couch quarterbacks who think they are friking experts on every damn thing. And give answers like “people have killed grizzlies with a 22 rifle so a 45 auto is fine”.
I seldom get a good answer to my questions. And I get reported for everything. I am to the point of throwing the towel in myself.
But quitters never win and winners never quit.

Yes, it is a lesser place. Back when I was young, and a warrior, our squadron motto was "Iligitimae non carborundum"-----Don't let the bastard$ wear you down. Hope he comes back.
 
yeah, its sad to see that the spammers and trolls get thier way.

I know.. miss em already.
Ain't gonna be the same without him. I've also gotten word that some other regulars are considering leaving also. :(
