...to the interests of the US? I mean tiny tiny Israel. Right in the heart of a big bad neighbourhood surrounded by millions of people who want to "Push it into the Sea".

But typical to the suffering of the Jewish people they have survived each time anybody thats tried to do that to them.

In 1950's it was Nassers Egypt that was a military threat.
In 1980's it was all about Libya.
It in the 1990's (when i was still a boy growing up) it was Iraq

All the above countrie have been "Dealt" with. They are no longer a threat. They have either been invaded or had a regime change.
The only country in 2010 now is Iran that stands in the way and draws the Ire of the US and Israelis.

So my question is. Just imagine if the Iranian regime is toppled and replaced, or invaded will their be no other opposition left in the Middle East for America to deal with?

I mean would that mean that Israel is safe forever? Because currently its seems that only Syria and Iran are the countries that keep bothering it?]

Will that mean that Hisbollah and Hamas will run out of supporters and ammunition? Thus allowing the Israelis to turn them all into Oatmeal?

I mean after Iran would that mean no more enemies left?
