Is the LG cookie any good?? (kp500?)?

i am looking at a phone to get for my birthday and would like to know whether the LG cookie is a good phone. i hope to get it with 02 and on pay as you go, not a contract. are there any other phones you can recomend that are touch screen and are good within the price range of about £100, on 02 and on pay as you go. also where to buy it from, i know the carphone warehouse sells them but is there anywhere else, perhaps with a range of colours (like silver other than black and pink)
