I have a certified pre-owned VZW Blackberry Storm (not Storm 2). It is nothing but problems, and I want to buy a new phone on Amazon or eBay to replace my current phone. Verizon keeps pushing their $500 phones at me, which is unreasonable. I have an available upgrade allowed on April 30th, 2011, but I can't go that long with a broken, freezing smartphone. I am paying for web access and a phone that cannot download any apps. I only have five all together. Customer service tried the back up and security wipe, only to make my phone worse off than it already was.
Oh by the way, I only purchased the pre-owned one because "I didn't have a warranty." If replace this used phone, it has to be replaced with another pre-owned phone. "Ugh!"
I just want to change phones all together. Does Verizon charge any fees for switching phones (w/o canceling your contract)??? I know to cancel your contract there are early termination fees, but do they charge switching phones under your current plan if you stay with it?
