Is there a difference between cooking sesame oil and sesame oil used for massage?

I don't want to risk putting unnecessary oils or what not into my hair or skin. I heard that sesame oil was good for the skin, but I'm not sure if the one that I use for cooking is acceptable.

If there is a difference, what are the different types and their differences?

No its all the same, it just has multiple uses
