Is there a way to move apps to your sd card? Using T-mobile MyTouch Slide 3g.?

I'm trying to clear up space on the phone's memory and still keep my useful apps and games by moving them to the SD card. I know the apps' developers have to have already set the app to be able to run from the SD card, so please don't answer with the obvious... I just want to know how I can accomplish what I'm trying to do.

Would I need a file manager app?
If so, which one?
If not, what steps do I have to take to move the files to my SD card?
 
we cant :( i have the same problem. just found out that option of storing apps to the sd card is only avaialable with andriod 2.2 (froyo). the origanal mytouch has the update already, the slide's are still waiting for their update.
