Is there a way to save and restore your BBM contacts if you reinstall Blackberry OS?

I am constantly trying different versions of the Blackberry OS on my Blackberry (currently running OS6). I want to downgrade to OS5 to test something. The past few times I re-added all my BBM contacts. This is getting to be a real pain for me and for my contacts as well since they need to accept my invitation multiple times.

Is there a way to backup the contacts so that I can restore them to the new operating system? I want to make it so that my contacts don't have to re-accept me as a contact.

you should have the usb cable so if you have the desktop software then they'll be a thing you can click on there saying 'backup' or copy and paste all their pins so you have them all
 
Just backup your device with Desktop Manager 6.0

Only data will be backed up so you can restore it to your BlackBerry regardless of the OS you are using
