Is there a way to turn the motorola droid phone connection off without turning 3g...

No 3G is your phone radio connection. If you have wireless internet you can connect the phones WiFi on and the 3G off and surf the net that way.
 
...off? ? I want to be able to browse the Internet and avoid talking to anyone without being interrupted and having to ignore the calls, because then when i go back to the page it refreshes and i have to start all over again while filling out forms, applications, etc.
Is there an application to only turn the phone radio off and leave 3g on?
