...feature for powering all off? Here is my set up..I have a Samsung plasma television mounted on my bedroom wall. The components are all hidden in the closet (HD Cable Box, Surround Sound Woofer, and Playstation). The surround sound system is a simple Sony soundbar mounted under the television. Since the woofer portion is in the closet, I cannot view the lcd screen, which is small to begin with. If I time the tv to power off, the cable signal is still delivering a signal to the surround sound system and therefore sound stays on all night with no picture on the tv. There is no on screen option for this model http://esupport.sony.com/US/perl/model-home.pl?mdl=HTCT100 , at least not that I could find or figure out.

I suffer from Tinnitus by the way, so I need some kind of noise such as the tv to fall asleep to, but would like it to power off after a while (about an hour or so). Does anyone have a solution for this problem?

My first thought was to look for a power strip with a timer and remote control with some increments to choose from. I could plug the all the components in to this strip. I searched for something like this and came up with nothing. Maybe I just invented something?? And now maybe all of you readers know about it...LOL! Anyway, it doesn't really matter. I just want to have both the tv and sound power off together at, say and hour or 90 minutes, etc. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thank you.
