...anti-god person and say...? "I do not agree with what you have to say, but I'll defend to the death your right to say it."?

If yes, how and why?

Thanks in advance.
I meant Christian OR Muslim OR Jew

I do not beleive in any Christian/Muslin/Jew God but yet i can say the same thing, Im from a religion called Asatru or Norse Heathenism (Heathen=Pagan) and just bc i strongly disagree with these religions doesnt mean that i wont defent the peoples right to beleive in them, even in my religion free will is a big thing and free will should be defended no matter the matter at hand.

This is a quotation, often said to be from Voltaire. It is, in fact, from S. G. Tallentyre, 'Friends of Voltaire' which was published in 1907.
'I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it.'
Article 18 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights states that: 'Everyone has the right to freedom of thought, conscience and religion.' (Or, presumably, to have no religion).
When I was working in a centre for asylum seekers, with people of all colours, ethnicities and religions, a white European Muslim (ex- Yugoslavia) said to me 'I'm racist. That's the way I am.'
My reply was, 'I don't agree with you, but since you don't make problems and simply avoid any social contact, then that is your right.'
Probably one of the nicest racists I've ever met. At least he was honest!

Yes, because this is America. Freedom of Religion. If you have chosen not to have a religion that is your right and second the Bible tells me that I can't.
Leviticus 19:15
"'Do not pervert justice; do not show partiality to the poor or favoritism to the great, but judge your neighbor fairly.

I believe poor and great is more than just monetarily. Atheists are the minority in this country and the majority cant take away your rights.

I won't defend to the death but I highly value freedom of speech and the rights of individuals.
I have other responsibilities now and death would greatly inhibit my desire to honor my current commitments.
Is there such a thing as a Christian/Muslim/Jew? I wonder where they worship and what they eat for Easter.
