Is there any place for humor in poetry? Is this humorous?

"The Plan"

I am a love-starved alien, and like no one on Earth
And you cannot imagine the grand planet of my birth.
I came here centuries ago to understand your race
And subsequently found a certain pleasure in this place.
The women here are a delight, yes a delight that fills
My seven-chambered heart to full, and ah… they have no gills.
And yet they fear me, could it be because I’m ten feet tall,
And seem to them less like a man than like a scaly wall.
They quickly fixate on the stalk protruding from my head
Though I would, if I could but choose, just talk to them instead.
I know your language, yes I do, as you can plainly see,
So why don’t women of your world wish to engage with me?
I’m quite the catch and yet they give me nothing but a glance
And if they would allow me to I’d take them out to dance.
I’d wrap eight arms around them, and draw them to my breast
And later we’d go to my ship… I think you know the rest.
But I am patient, I won’t leave, indeed I plan to stay;
And soon we will replace your race! I plan to get my way…
BB, wanna spank you in the mothership...
