...caused by television & other tech gadgets? Just a thought in which i was curious to know if any research had been done in that area. If so could you please provide a brief guideline on where to find that info?

no there is no actual way to know u have ADHD/ADD its just a psychiatrist listening to u and saying u have something... check out the psychiatric museum and industry of death... they have alot of info on that stuff.. cchr.com or cchr.org... check it out
