...a genetic disorder? i have looked and found that it is hereditary but i haven't found out if it is a genetic disorder.
i know its genetic, but is it a genetic disorder that has only a chance of happening. an example of a genetic disorder is down's syndrome. a genetic disorder means it is something wrong with your chromosomes, with one or more of your chromosome pairs.
 
If it's hereditary, that means it is genetic. Where do your genes come from? You inHERIT them.
 
Look up research by doing a search on Jill St. James. Read her studies and findings. I have done research and emailed with her and she knows. She is located here in Arkansas at the children's hospital. They HAVE found the gene that causes it and they can test newborns to see if they are prone. Remember though, we carry genes for a lot of things, but you have to have the proper triggers to set it off. Just because the gene is there, does not mean that it is actively present.
