is there any way to download blackberry apps onto my computer before placing

them into the blackberry? i dont have a data plan so i was wondering where i could download free apps that'll work without a data plan blackberry. and more then anything if there was a way to download them onto my computer since blackberry app world wont work with my blackberry? id appreciate any help, i really want to have more apps on my new blackberry
 
Nearly every app requires data to work.

You could use Desktop Manager to install them on your phone but they will not work without data.
