I just began tumbling (it's been less than a month and I'm already addicted) so I'm still a little confused about some things that don't seem to be mentioned anywhere on the sight.
Tonight I entered a very simple, innocent search, and as I was scrolling down there were some very inappropriate photos! Almost pornographic. Gross!!! There's no way I'm interested in that sort of thing. I'm wondering if there's a filter you can put that keeps you from viewing all the inappropriate pictures/postings meant for over-18 crowd. I looked in the preferences and all you can do I guess is block people. Is there some secret thing that I'm missing? I don't feel like complaining to the people posting inappropriate pictures themselves, because if there's no rules I guess they have a right to post those sort of things. It's a free country. But are there any rules and is there any way I can keep from seeing these things?
I know I sound like a fuddy duddy, or a little girl (I'm not) but I have a little sister and parents that read over my shoulder, and friends that I'd like to recommend tumblr to, but I don't think I can get on this site comfortably when I have to worry about some weird thing popping up. I don't want to have to delete my tumblr account. Also, there's no age restrictions, meaning any kid can get on and see whatever they want.
