Is there any way to remove apps from my HTC Legend without using the Android Market?

I've installed some apps that I wish to remove from my phone...but I can't find it under the android market where my apps are listed. Even when I do a search of that app on the market, it doesn't even appear.

Is there some way to remove it manually or something?
