Is there anyway to get scratches off DVD's?

I have all the seasons of Friends but one of the discs in Season 7 is completely screwed up and always freezes. I think it's because it has a lot of scratches on it. Is there anyway to get them off? Because I don't want to have to buy the whole season again.
 
If you don’t have plastic polish, use brasso or silvo, something like that. Buff the scratch out gently and the disc should be fine, assuming it’s not too deep…
